CetusMix -training is suitable for children who are interested in swimming and who want to practice in the pool twice a week. In CetusMix the swimming skills and athletic abilities of the participants will develop so that they can after CetusMix proceed to competitive swimming, synchronized swimming and waterpolo. From the competitive sports’ point of view, the age of 8-9 years is optimal for starting in CetusMix. On the other hand, one can partake in CetusMix also without any competitive goals. One can participate in the group with the recommendation of a Vesiralli-instructor.
In CetusMix-groups we practise different swimming sports. The goal is to improve the ability to move in water an on dryland diversely. In CetusMix we create a base to the sport competence, which is required in the different sports on the competitive level.
Water rally 1-4 from the course selection and the style-specific technique courses create a good base for the CetusMix-training. Hobby Group for Children and course-based hobby activities are alternatives for the competitive oriented CetusMix.
The aim of the CetusMix-training is to accomplish a skilled base, which prepares the child for pool swimming, synchronized swimming or water polo competitive groups. In the Mix-groups we practice moving in the water diversely with the help of primitive exercises typical for the different water sports. Unitive basic elements of swimming competence for the different water sports are for example body control, to perceive the direction of the movement and coordinate the movements. When the skills develop, the child can after its interest get acquainted with different water sports training- and competitive culture.
In CetusMix we create a base to the sport competence, which is required in the different sports on the competitive level. The versatile CetusMix creates a bottom to the later style practising. After the CetusMix one can continue the competitive sport in the coaching groups of swimming, synchronized swimming and water polo. The child's age, participation activity and skill evolving during the CetusMix effects on the continuation of the competitive sport.
