Vesiralli 1-4 and Stroke Technique (6+ years)
Vesiralli 1-4 are great all-round swimming courses in the big pool once the child has completed all swim classes. These versatile classes build a great foundation for the future in terms of training and becoming a competitive swimmer. In a fun and challenging way, the children learn basic skills of various different watersports including water polo, artistic swimming, diving and swimming. Vesiralli 1 and 2 focus on teaching fundamentals such as breathing, body control and other skills and abilities. Vesiralli 3 and 4 are more about learning the different swimming strokes as a whole, but always in a fun way. After completing each Vesiralli level, the child receives a diploma and corresponding pin. Our Vesiralli instructors are trained and certified by the Finnish Swimming Association.
We offer two different types of stroke technique classes for children. The first is for children over the age of 7 who want to continue working in their skills after the Vesiralli 4. The class focuses on honing stroke technique and learning the different starts and turns. The participants should already have mastered the basics of the strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly) but need brushing up before joining one of the hobby groups or CetusMix.
The other class is for children over the age of 12 and requires no prior experience in learning stroke technique. To participate, the child must know how to swim and be comfortable in the water. The lessons take place in the big pool and for safety reasons each participant must be able to swim at least 50 meters on their front.

To participate, the child is able to swim without stopping at least 25 meters on the front and 25 meters on the back in the big pool.
