Hobby Swim Group

This group is an opportunity for a child or youth to enjoy swimming as a hobby without competitive goals. Hobby group swimmers can earn various swim achievement badges (distance swimming, candidate/master of swimming) offered by the Finnish Swimming Teaching and Lifesaving Federation.

Hobby groups train 1-2 times per week.

Starting level requirements

To participate, a child must have successfully have completed Children's Stroke Technique or Vesiralli 4 (Dolphin pin) or, alternatively, demonstrate the ability to swim a distance of 200 meters and mastery of the basics of the four strokes.
