Swim Class 2
In Swim Class 2 the children hone their previously acquired skills and work on breathing technique and body control. They will also practice dolphin jumps, gliding on their side, rolling over while gliding, rolling over while floating and handstands in the water. Instruction takes place primarily in the children's pool, but the group will also practice some skills in the big pool. Swim Class 2 continues throughout the entire semester. As the swimmers' skills develop, the group may also practice skills from the Swim Class 3 curriculum.
Starting level requirements
To participate, the child can already float, glide, swim under water and swim at least 5 meters (elementary stroke, both front and back). The class is for children aged 5 and over.
The goal is for the child to be able to swim elementary stroke (both front and back) for appr. 15 meters in the big pool and jump into deep water without assistance.
Please note: We also offer Swim Class 2 groups for children aged 7-12 years old.
