Water polo

The Cetus men's team has won the Finnish Championship in seasons 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 and silver in 2022 and 2023. The women's team won the Finnish Championship silver in the 2019 season and the Championship in the 2020 season.

In the younger age group's national series Cetus teams have regularly won Finnish Championship medals. In the 2022-23 season Cetus' juniors won the national title in all categories: B-juniors (U17), C-juniors (U15) and D-juniors (U13).

In addition to series activities and regular training, we participate in domestic and foreign tournaments, as well as organize tournaments and training camps ourselves. We arrange annually a Vesipeto -tournament for youngest juniors and the international Cetus Baltic Open tournament during Easter. Our players also participate in the Finnish Swimming Association's national team activities.

Young water polo players usually start at the CetusMix level or in water polo schools. After this, those interested will move on to water polo coaching groups, the first of which are the E juniors group (approximately 8-11 years old) and the D juniors group (under 13 years old).

Older children and teenagers with good swimming skills are also welcome to start in one of our training groups. In addition to the senior teams, we have training groups and teams for players of different levels and ages. We also organize hobby water polo for adults and youth over 15 years old!

Both beginners and experienced water polo players are welcome in our groups. You can also start in the middle of the season.
